Privacy Policy
Effective: August 26, 2026
1. Information we collect
We may collect account details, profile information, location submissions, verification evidence, professional evidence, references, device and session information, audit events, trust decisions, appeals and security signals.
2. Why we use it
We use information to operate accounts, verify identity and claims, prevent manipulation, support review and appeals, protect security, measure service performance and improve VEGAS.iD.
3. Sensitive evidence
Verification evidence may contain sensitive personal information. Access should be limited to authorized review and operational roles. Public profiles should expose only information intended for public display, not raw verification documents.
4. Google sign in
If Google sign in is enabled and you choose it, we may receive your Google account identifier, verified email address and basic profile name. We do not need to store your Google access token for normal VEGAS.iD account linking.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared with service providers or authorized reviewers when necessary to operate, secure or verify the service, and when required by law.
6. Retention
Some verification, decision and audit history may be retained to preserve integrity, prevent manipulation, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations even after a status changes.
7. Security
We use access controls, review separation, audit logging and other safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices
Subject to applicable law, users may request access, correction or deletion of eligible account data. Certain audit, fraud prevention, dispute or legal records may need to be retained.
9. Changes
This policy may change as VEGAS.iD develops. Material changes should be reflected by an updated effective date and, when appropriate, additional notice.
10. Contact
Privacy requests can be submitted through the official VEGAS.iD support channel once published.
